Product Description: The Kaier T55 is a compact, dual-tone snail-shaped horn set designed strictly for 12V vehicle systems. It operates by combining a 510Hz high tone with a 410Hz low tone to produce a loud, 115dB melodic sound. The horns feature two-terminal connections and utilize a microporous Teflon filter to protect the internal diaphragm and contact points from dirt and moderate humidity.

General Installation Guide:

1. Mounting Position: Secure the horns to a solid metal part of the vehicle chassis to minimize vibration.
2. Orientation: CRITICAL: Mount the horns so the open trumpet (snail opening) faces downwards. This prevents rainwater or wash water from pooling inside the acoustic chamber.
3. Grounding: Ensure the mounting point is free of paint and rust for a solid mechanical connection. Connect one terminal of each horn to a clean chassis ground.

4-Pin Relay Installation Guide (Highly Recommended):

To power two heavy-duty snail horns, you must use a standard automotive 4-pin relay to prevent burning out your factory steering wheel switch.

• Pin 30 (Power): Connect directly to the Positive (+) terminal of the car battery using a thick wire. Install a 15A or 20A inline fuse on this wire as close to the battery as possible.
• Pin 85 (Ground): Connect to a clean metal part of the vehicle chassis (Ground).
• Pin 86 (Trigger): Connect this to the original horn wire coming from your steering wheel.
• Pin 87 (Output): Connect this to the remaining positive terminals on both Kaier horns.
